The "Best" Peanut Butter

I've been searching for a peanut butter that tastes great, is healthy under Eating Clean guidelines, and affordable. If you actually read the labels of the supposedly "Organic or Less Sugar or All Natural" peanut butters that sit on your grocers shelf, they really are not all that healthy for you. I finally found a peanut butter that is fabulous and would fall under the "Clean Eating" category. It's made by Parkers Farm right here in Coon Rapids, MN. Below is information directly from their website.....

"Parkers Farm Peanut Butter is made the old-fashioned way using freshly roasted peanuts ground to a smooth perfection! Then we add just enough salt to taste. It’s all natural, we don’t add any preservatives or stabilizers. Parkers Farm Peanut Butter is a great tasting alternative to the national brand Peanut Butters and because its hand crafted you get the authentic taste of homemade Peanut Butter with out the preservatives. This is why Parkers Farm Peanut Butter is kept in the refrigerator. With no trans fatty acids, no preservatives, no hydrogenated oils and low sodium its hard to go wrong. Also don't forget to try using Parkers Farm Peanut Butter in your favorite recipes.

Parkers Farms Peanut Butter comes in the following varieties:

Creamy Peanut Butter
Crunchy Peanut Butter
Honey Roasted Creamy Peanut Butter
Honey Roasted Crunchy Peanut Butter

I buy my Parkers Farm peanut butter at COSTCO. You get at least double the amount from a regular grocery store and the cost is around $5.00. Otherwise, I buy it from Target (but I get maybe half the amount for around $4.00). It pays to shop bulk. Here are other stores where it can be found:

Shop Rite Stores
Path Mark Stores
Price Chopper
Schnuck Markets
Wal-Mart Supercenters
Cub Stores
Byerlys Stores
Lunds Stores
Kowalski Markets
Rainbow Foods
Hy-Vee Stores
Pick N Save Stores

I guess you could just compare the nutritional information provided above with your shelf peanut butter and see for yourself. My favorite way to eat their peanut butter is to measure out my 2 tbsp in a small dish/container, let it come to room temperature, and then dip my celery sticks in it. When the peanut butter becomes really soft & smooth (more on the runny side), it seems to go farther and you don't tend to over-eat which can happen so often with peanut butter.

Give it a try. I think you'll agree it's pretty good!
