Slow Cooker Red Beans & Rice



3 Cups Water
1 Cup Dried Kidney Beans
1 Cup Chopped Onion
1 Small Chopped Green Pepper
1 Cup Chopped Celery
1 Smoked Turkey Sausage Ring (Sliced)
1 Bay Leaf
1 Tsp Dried Thyme
1/8-1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper (depends on how hot you want it)
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
3 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)

What to do:
* Combine all the above in your slow cooker
* Cook on High for 3 hours/Low for 8 hours
* Remove bay leaf
* Add salt to taste (optional)
* Serve over cooked white or brown rice
* Serves 4
