No-Bake Energy Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (dry) oatmeal
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup all natural peanut butter (or any of your favorite nut butter)
  • 1/4 cup ground flax seeds
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup all natural honey

Instructions

Stir all dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
Add wet ingredients and stir to combine well.
Cover with plastic wrap and place in fridge for at least 30 mins to chill.
Use a teaspoon and roll into balls (about an inch)
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Eat and enjoy :)

Tips & Bonus Information

You can substitute the peanut butter for any of your favorite all natural nut butters. You can omit the chocolate chips. you can add your own favorite dried fruits such as raisins, cranberries or dates. *If you find that it's too dry (usually not a problem), you can add a touch more honey or peanut butter.
Yield: about 25 individual balls (depending on the size you make)
Preparation Time: 5-10 mins
Cooking Time: Refrigerate 30 mins
